You can withdraw funds through Altruist by following the steps below:
- Selecting ‘Add Funds’ at the top right of the screen.
- A slide-out menu will appear, click on ‘Withdraw.’
- Here you can select from which Carbon Collective account you’d like to withdraw, and the account where you’d like to send the money to.
- Lastly, enter the transfer date and amount, and select next.
Please note, if you want to withdraw more than the cash portion of your account (~2 of your total investments), you will first need to contact Carbon Collective (you can email support at support@carboncollective.co).
We will need to sell the appropriate portion of your investments, settle those trades, and transfer it to your bank. The entire process takes about a week from date of withdrawal request to the money being deposited into your bank account.
