Sending a Check or Wire Transfer to Altruist

If you want to transfer funds from your bank account to your Carbon Collective account on Altruist, the easiest way to is to electronically link your bank and use an ACH transfer.

Unfortunately, if you have a small bank it might not work with Altruist’s ACH software, so the next options are to mail a check or wire funds. Here are the instructions:

1. Make the check payable to:
   Please ensure that checks are made payable to Altruist Financial LLC FBO <Your Name> as outlined below.
2. In the memo of the check write:
   
   [Altruist 8 Digit Account # + Account Holder's Name + Rollover]

Note: Checks for deposit must include the recipient client’s account number in the memo field on the check.

In the Comment section have them put: “Your Altruist account number (e.g.12345678) , your full name – Rollover”
