Brooke Tomasetti is a personal finance coach and educator.

Brooke is the owner and head financial coach at her company Money Life Mentor. She is the Director of Financial Education at Carbon Collective, the first climate-focused online investment advisor. Brooke has shared her story on several personal finance and real estate podcasts such as Wrestling With Real Estate (WWRE), House Hacking Success, and The Clever Girls Know Podcast. She also presented a TEDx Talk titled “Money As a Tool For Creating the Life of Your Dreams.” Her focus is on helping others gain confidence in their finances so that they can use money as a tool for creating the life of their dreams.

Zach Stein is the co-founder of Carbon Collective, the first investment advisory firm focused solely on solving climate change.

Zach has been a serial entrepreneur since graduating from Hamilton College in 2011. Starting in urban agriculture, Zach moved to indoor farming, then aquaculture, where he teamed up with James to help shrimp farmers save money while reducing their environmental impact with real-time water quality data. Then in 2020, Zach and James founded Carbon Collective, so that we all can collectivize the impact of our retirement savings.

Tavis Boise is a climate activist, non-profit organizer, public speaker, and Head of 401(k) Operations at Carbon Collective.

Tavis holds a Masters of Business Administration from CSUCI, and is an Investment Advisor Representative at Carbon Collective. He has been focused on driving change throughout his community in Santa Barbara, CA and globally with mission driven organizations. In 2019, Tavis became the youngest candidate for the city council in Santa Barbara and ran on a platform of forward thinking climate policy. Tavis also serves as Vice President of a local non-profit that raises money through ocean centric events for individuals with cancer in Santa Barbara. Mari is the Head of Client Relations at Carbon Collective.

Mari holds Associates of Science degrees in Biology and Chemistry from SCC and is an Investment Advisor Representative at Carbon Collective. She had the opportunity to cultivate her skills of multicultural relations and exploration, education, and service in her respective roles as an Ambassador for Rotary Youth Exchange, foreign language tutor, and member of the Davis Odd Fellows. Living in Davis, CA, she grew her passion for sustainability and urban-agricultural systems where she volunteered at the Ecology Gardens. As the Head of Client Relations at Carbon Collective, Mari is excited to help make finance accessible to historically under-represented groups of people and help make the nuance in the sustainability space understandable for everyone.

James Regulinski is the Co-Founder & Chief Compliance Officer at Carbon Collective.

James Regulinski is a co-founder of Carbon Collective, a company providing low-fee, diversified investment portfolios built for solving climate change, where he leads product, customer success, and compliance. Prior to starting Carbon Collective with Zach Stein in 2020, he and Stein worked at Osmo Systems, where they built a low-cost water-quality sensor and monitoring platform and raised more than $4 million to commercialize and scale the technology, which won Imagine H2O’s 2018 prize for innovation. Regulinski began his career in sustainability at ALL Power Labs, a company that converted carbonous agricultural waste products into low-carbon electricity and a waste product that sequesters carbon. An engineer by training, his passion for sustainability began as a child, sailing around the world for five years with his family and witnessing humanity’s negative impact on the natural world.

VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGY AND MARKETING AT CARBON COLLECTIVE

Breene Murphy is the Vice President of Strategy and Marketing at Carbon Collective Investing, the first online investment advisor 100% focused on solving climate change.

Breene has a background in finance, marketing, and climate. He’s been a Citizens’ Climate Lobby volunteer for 10 years, during which time he was the congressional liaison for 8, and helped his congressional rep co-sponsor climate legislation. He’s the director of the ecoadventure documentary series Seven Crossings with big wave surfer Jamie Mitchell. He loves the climate community, and is always open to chat about getting a job in climate or speaking on climate either live, as he did at Climate Week with Project Drawdown, or on podcasts like Brands Saving the Planet, B2B Marketing. Before joining the Carbon Collective team, Breene was the Director of Client Experience for EP Wealth Advisors, a Barron's Top 50 Registered Investment Advisors.
